Helping Youth Shine from the Inside Out.

 

Shine On: Beauty Boost is a community giveback initiative of the Call Me Beauty Mentoring Program designed to provide essential hygiene and personal-care items to children and youth who may experience barriers to accessing these everyday necessities.

We believe that having access to basic hygiene products is more than a matter of personal care, it is connected to confidence, dignity, self-esteem, health, and overall well-being. Through Shine On: Beauty Boost, we work to reduce hygiene disparities by ensuring that girls and boys have access to the products they need to feel clean, confident, and cared for.

What We Provide
 

Shine On: Beauty Boost provides FREE hygiene and personal-care kits for girls and boys. Kits may include:

​

• Toothbrushes and toothpaste

• Soap and body wash

• Deodorant

• Lotion

​​

 Products upon request: 

• Feminine hygiene products

• Hair and personal-care items

• Other essential hygiene products based on individual or community needs

​

Because every child’s needs are different, we also respond to special requests for specific personal-care and hygiene items whenever resources allow.

Where We Serve

 

Shine On: Beauty Boost distributes supplies through schools, community organizations, churches, community events, and other youth-serving partners. Our goal is to meet young people where they are and make these essential resources accessible in a way that protects their dignity.

​

In 2026, we have proudly provided hygiene support to students and youth through:

Heath Springs Elementary • Kershaw Elementary • Erwin Elementary • Brooklyn Springs Elementary • North Elementary • South Middle School • A.R. Rucker Middle School • Lancaster High School

​

We are also expanding our reach into Chester County, including supporting a local Back-to-School Bash and a community hygiene drive hosted through a local church.

​

We are grateful to Lancaster Children’s Home for allowing Call Me Beauty to provide essential hygiene items to the youth in their care.

More Than a Hygiene Kit

Shine On: Beauty Boost is about more than handing someone a bag of products.

It is about telling a young person:

“You matter. You are worthy. You deserve to feel confident, cared for, and prepared.”

By removing one barrier to self-care, we hope to help youth show up at school, in their communities, and in everyday life with greater confidence and dignity.

This initiative allows Call Me Beauty Mentoring Program to pour back into the community, support underserved youth, address hygiene disparities, and continue spreading our message that true beauty begins from within.
